LAMBETH LEGACY TO LIVE ON IN RUE IV
For more than a century, the Lambeth name has been synonymous with furniture and design. Forty of those years, Jim and Ann Lambeth passionately spent running one of the original showrooms at the Washington Design Center and supporting its community by showing the world the best DC had to offer in design. Later, partnering with Fabricut, Ann was a leading advocate for relocating the design center to where it is today.
But with Ann Lambeth’s untimely passing nearly five years ago, and Jim preparing to retire, after enjoying 60 years in the industry, Jim asked his daughter Katharine to begin searching for a successor to continue the legacy into the future.
“We are all excited to share some wonderful news” …
The Lambeth family will pass their baton to Janine and Jay Guerin, industry veterans who will partner with Fabricut to launch Rue IV — a multiline showroom that will inherit the J. Lambeth location at the Washington Design Center. Rue IV will continue the great tradition of providing this talented industry with incredible products supported by stellar staff. Janine and Jay look forward to being champions and supporters of designers in the DC area and the Mid-Atlantic region - in the same fashion as the Lambeths.
